Yesterday I saw some really incredible sights on my trip from Rochester, New York, back to Greenville, South Carolina. I purposefully traveled through the mountains on my way back home from some business meetings, as a way to take a break from my usual routine. This was the first time I have made this trip on a motorcycle, so I was a bit apprehensive.

The trip was absolutely perfect! I woke this morning refreshed and really excited about this wonderful part of the country and all the opportunities ahead of us in the fitness business.

The trip reminded me how important it is to schedule some time away from our daily routines, in order to “re-charge our batteries” and keep a perspective. Make sure you schedule some time for you – soon.

Here are your tips for the week:

1. For you – When you are clear on what your customers want to buy from you and you provide it, they will become raving fans and your business will explode. The book, “Ask,” by Ryan Levesque will lead you to surprising clarity.

2. For Your Business – What do you do? Last week you wrote out what you do in 100 words. (If you didn’t get to it with the holiday, just check my email from last week for details.) This week, our challenge for you is to write out your 3-second-intro. When someone asks you what you do, how do you respond in 3 seconds? WARNING: this is not easy. You are the main salesperson for your fitness business and your answer will separate you from your competition.

3. For your Clients and Members – Here is a great reminder to share with everyone, especially at this time of the year. How Coca Cola Affects Your Body.
